Article VII: Finance

Section 1: Dues per member shall be 1.4% of the BA, 185 day base salary, plus a direct pass through of monthly per-capita charges in excess of:

• AFT - $5.00/mo. or  $60.00/yr.
• MFT -$3.75/mo. or  $45.00/yr.
• Ins. -$  .54/mo. or $6.48/yr.
• Mich. - AFL-CIO - $  .22/mo. or  $2.64/yr.
• Det,   - AFL-CIO - $  .20/mo. or  $2.60/yr.

Section 2: Those professionals electing to be service fee, non-members, shall pay an adjusted amount of dues listed as a service fee. Section 3: Dues shall be pro-rated for those entering or leaving the bargaining unit during the negotiated contract year.

Article VIII: Rules of Order

Robert’s Rules of Order, 10 th edition revised, shall govern in all cases not covered by the MIFT Constitution or By-Laws.
